Finally somewhere I may be of help, can you send me a pdf version or
something else so I can look at the diagram.  I've done a couple of
16F877 designs so I'll have a look at it.  Bill I'll send you a copy of
a bulletproof power supply, good for 7-36V input with filtering and
surge protection (what I use in all my psu designs), you'll most likely
even be CE compliant if you use it (never failed emc testing for CE with
this design).  As I can't ftp through our firewall can you post it to
incoming when you receive it.
