... this is a project which was put together by two members of the DIY-EFI community, Bruce Bowling
and Al Grippo ... so you know by definition that two people on the list have BTDT ... :-)

I think there was a bit more discussion of this project on the EFI332 list ... so you can check
recent archives there for more info. I was not at all involved in the development of the project,
but from simply reading the traffic there I gather that one of the goals was to make it so that
there was a minimum need to know anything of assembly language programming. Since the system only
controls fuel there is not as much of a need to know precise crank angles ... and it is a double
bank batch fire system ... which is great for engines with an even number of cylinders ... and I
have some such in my fleet ... both of them already incorporating EFI though. The rest of my fleet
are CIS and have crankshafts with 72 degrees between the arms ...

It sounds like this is an ideal system for someone who is interested in learning about EFI but may
not have a strong background in all of the disciplines needed to develop an EFI system from scratch.
Bruce posted on EFI332 that a one shot massive group buy is planned in the near future, so if you
are interested at all I'd recommend hopping on board ASAP. It would appear that the expectations
are that the system will have an added spark contol module some time in the future ...
