Jaycar 5300 LED display

Hey guys,
  The plot thickens.. I took apart the display board and tested the
7-segment LED's and the bar LED, and they are all functioning, so i know
they are not the problem.. so something must have happened to the board when
the 10ohm resistor burned up.. Could it be the PIC16F84A chip?
