Which fuel pump for a TBI conversion?

Hi there!

Dana Weatherhead #1445 is a brass fitting that
converts the 14mm Saginaw to 3/8" flare.

Dana Weatherhead #1446 is a brass fitting that
converts the 16mm Saginaw fitting to 3/8" flare.

One each will let you attach 3/8" steel lines to a '89
Caprice 305 TBI, for instance.

They were about $5 each from my Napa dealer.

Summit carries the Accel lines that are Saginaw
fittings on a short steel line. About $10 each, or
$30 for a set of two 16mm fittings and one 14mm
fitting.

Someone mentioned concerns about compression fittings
and fuel lines. I've used compression fittings on
fuel lines with no problems. They are an accepted
method of repairing disc brake lines, so they are
capable of being trusted in high-pessure
mission-critical applications :)
