Accepted in Auto industry?? Not in anything that I've read.
Also illegal in many states to have compression fitting on brake lines.  Fer
instance, compression fittings here cause you to fail the yearly safety
inspection.

This eventually turns into a "goes nowhere" thread.  There are superior
compression fittings, and then there are junk.  For "superior," don't go
shopping at a local parts, department, or Home Despot type store.

"Superior" quality parts, I would trust on brake lines.
