fuel pressure sensor

All new Ford fuel injection systems are returnless and use a fuel pressure
sensor. The pump is dead-headed. They cost about $50. Try (maybe) a 1998
Escort Zx2. As far as the calibration goes, I believe Motorola produced the
sensor and the cal is available on their web site. If you cannot find it, let
me know. I have some students using this sensor at the present time.

Many of the new sensors and systems are discussed in the new book "Automotive
Electronics and Computer Systems" by Robert Brady.
