OBDII Interface

Hi all,

Does anyone have any first hand experience with the interface below?

I'm looking for a low cost alternative to monitor and check trouble
codes on toyota's and GM's. The BR-1 goes for $76 completely built with
software. It seems too good to be true so I thought I would ask
everyone.
