The 1999 Bosch paper (SAE 199-01-0204) describes a 150 to 200V ion
current voltage. I recommend that you try to borrow or buy a copy of
that paper which appears along with others in "Electronic Engine
Controls 1999" published by SAE (catalogue No. SP-1418)
[ISBN 0-7680-0350-4].

It also discusses the probablities of false positives and false
negatives in knock detection.
