[Diy_efi] TCC control

I plan to use the vaccum switch and pressure switches to control the TCC, 
since that is what the '85 model 700R4 is set up for (instead of computer 
control). Does the ECM still need any inputs (like 4th gear signal) for 
fuel/spark changes, or do I just stow those wires and burn the EPROM as a 
manual vehicle? I would think it needs something to advance the timing at 
hi-way speeds, but is that just from the VSS? Thanks for your help, Bruce. 
I'll go splice that IAC together now. Probably more questions to come. I have 
all the papers from the DIY site, but like I said, my projects always have to 
be more complicated. 

BTW, I've heard bad things about controlling a 700R4 with the '747. Any 
thoughts on that. My only basis for using stock set-up (pressure switches) is 
the mods to the valve body.
