Hello all,

I have been an on / off reader of the diy-efi lists for a few years.

I am writing to announce that I have published documentation of an EST
controller of my own design. I developed this system in my spare time
starting in 1994, had the first engine test in 1997 and have made some
enhancements since then. The schematic, source code for the controller and
PC cal tool are available for download.

A little about myself: I work at the Caterpillar Large Engine Center in
Lafayette Indiana where we design and build engines ranging from about 30
to 300 liters. (No mistake in the decimal point!). Formerly employed at
Delphi Delco Electronics in Kokomo, Indiana where I worked on the Flint
1996-97 V6 PCM, Warren 1999 V8 PCM and Harley-Davidson 2001-02 ECM
Programs. I have three classic vehicles - 1966 Chevelle, 1967 CS10 Truck
and 1970 Monte Carlo. My 1995 Park Avenue Ultra (Read: Supercharged) may
be a classic some day, although I have resisted the temptation to remove
the torque limiting calibrations after breaking the transaxle (weak stock
Reverse Reaction Carrier - new one is heat treated) once.

Hope everyone finds the site interesting and useful. I will try to
incorporate suggested improvements to the site as time and web space
permit.

Best Regards,

JW
