Darius,
I'm an electrical engineer in Brisbane and I'm currently building an =
engine management
system based on a MC16c/62. You can buy an EVB and compiler(4 month =
trial) from
Mitsubishi for A$120 at http://www.m16canz.com/ .
If you want to make one yourself this micro is very good for an EMS.
I'm only up to creating the coil and injector signals (sequential) and =
reading
the map sensor and rpm and doing a lookup for fuel and advance.
All just bench test right now, engine test will be a while later.
The good part about this micro is that I can get it to create four=20
20Khz square waves out to generate a hold signal for the injectors.
This should alleviate the need for specialized injector driver I.C's.
