[Diy_efi] 97 leaded vs 98 unleaded.

sorry if this question is slightly off topic, but I had to ask ;-)

I have access to two kinds of fuel: 97 RON leaded and
98 RON unleaded.

Which has better anti-knock properties?

Actually, my doubt is the following:

Does the 97 leaded have better antinock properties because
it contains lead, which means that it behaves "as if" it was a
98 (or higher) unleaded?

or....

Is the 98 unleaded better because 98 is higher than 97, and that's
the number that counts?
