TPS and 02 is a perfectly acceptable way of tuning a performance motor. Here
in UK it is standard fare with MBE setups.

The stabilisation time of a 4 gas has very little relation to what the
measurement speed is with a WB-02. As already stated you can get around 10
meaningful samples per second out of a WB system.

You also have to look at how learning ECUs work.
