AFAIK, hall effect means photo-interrupter (I think that is an =
appropriate term), not reluctor wheel and inductive pickup, but, honda =
has their own way of doing things...

well im not sure why it works. honda swear up and down that its a hall =
effet however most testing just show it to be a simple magneitc trigger. =
it has the correct switch on switch off impedence. also my timing is =
what ever is speced inside the erpom as deliverd. i had original brought =
the low ref wire to the ecm without it being grounded but it wouldnt =
correctly control timing. i brought the low ref to ground and wham it =
works. i cant explain everythign but im sure some one here will.=20
