[Diy_efi] HC-11 HELP!!!!

Can anyone help me with a C-source code for detecting
pulses from a crank-position sensor that outputs a TTL
level signal.  The signal is a 9-square pulse train
with 3 missing pulses.  I'm trying to setup the HC11
to count the pulses, and initialize the count to zero
when the first pulse is detected after the gap of the
missing pulse.  PLEASE HELP!!!! e-mail me at
