At 90 % duty cycle you have all 6 open for at least 142 degrees.
(360 - 218 degrees)

Flow is not changed very much by opening or closing the injector
the by-pass nature of the system has most of the fuel just passing
through.

Your concern for "instantaneous flows" is not well founded.

Injectors don't just open.  They start at zero flow and do have
partial flows at partial openings.  The electrical configuration
plays a part as well as the fuel pump and lines and dampers.

Repeatability is of much greater concern for system designers.
