[Diy_efi] 2.0 diss module with the 1227749

Time out on this thread please.

As Shannon pointed out on the 7th of this month, the problem is NOT with the
trigger wheel and NOT with the DIS module. It is with the Differences
between code in an HEI ECM and a DIS ECM.

Scoping a woking car is going to tell you didly unless you have a full on
logic analyser. A scope will show a signal with a 50% duty cycle going to
the DIS pack. So you know it is not like an EEC-IV where the PW gives the
spark timing info. Still doesn't help as you still have to wade through 2
sets of assembler with a fine tooth comb and this is the position people
have got to. The 10% inspiration has gone. Now for the 90% perspiration.

FWIW a couple of flip flops and 2 HEI modules driving the DIS coils directly
would be much quicker and easier. You would lose some dwell range, but on a
4-pot that is less of an issue unless you run megaboost.

well if the tpu timing instructions are looking for a specific length of
both high and low in the wave and yr current trigger doesnt give it the
correct breaks maybe this could be the issue. heres the best example i cn
type up.

____I-----I____I------I say this is a stock trgieer patern minus the
interupt.

say this is your pattern with yr current wheel
 __I--------------I__I--------------I________

even though its still effectivaly trigering and counting pulse maybe its
say more sensitive to the on and off cycles than we know about now.
