[Diy_efi] Using oil temp for eng temp on ait cooled bikes

Howdy all,

First of all, thanks for all the usefull feedback and information on my
previous questions, they certainly showed the wide breadth of knowledge out
there. Hopefully this is a simple question.

On an air cooled motorcycle, would it be more accurate to measure the oil
temp as an indicator of the engine temp or physically mount the sensor into
the cylinder head fins to get a better/more accurate temp. for EFI
calculations?
