[Diy_efi] Venturi effect crankcase breather

The text on my delete key is getting difficult to read, I thought this =
was a
moderated list.  Am I confused?

BTW, you are both expressing valid points about PCV systems but your =
fields
of experience are not allowing you to see each other's views.  Having =
worked
on both cars and bikes, NA and forced induction, Matt's points about =
vacuum
being applied are correct and Adam's points about the vent being =
connected
to the airbox (plenum) are also correct.  Bikes and cars have differing
emissions control requirements and therefore different systems.  VERY
different systems.  You could both stand to stop arguing and do some
research on the other's points before cluttering up the list with flame
wars.

My Zephyr makes 80 bhp at the rear wheel on an eddy
current dyno, with 615cc of displacement.  That puts
it not too far off of 150 bhp per liter at the crank.=20
I just got 52 mpg on a 130-mile trip to LA.  With carbs.
