[Diy_efi] 4L80E into 6.2 diesel application

What do you have for a tranny now? I looked up the specs on the advanced
adapters web site and noticed that the 4L60E has a lower first and second
gear than the 4L80E.

I ran the numbers through my gearing calculator and found that you can
probably hit 80 or 80 MPH, but your engine will be tearing itself apart
(assuming 30 inch tires). I didn't try the numbers with a different ratio.

Anyhow, your engine speed at 70 MPH is about 2700 RPM. That's pretty
fast -- especially for a diesel. For reference, our minivan turns about
2000 at 70 MPH, and it has a little V6 gasoline engine. My Grand Wagoneer
turns a little faster, but it doesn't have an overdrive (something that I
want to rectify in the near future).
