Yes, it means not only do I totally disagree it also means
the opinion is a whole lot of hogwash based upon a misunderstanding
of what constitutes 'computing requirements' from a lack
of experience of the dichotomy between real world requirements
and the speed/power of existing EFI micro processors... <sigh>

Stepper drives, servo drivers all can work concurrently on
basic micros doing even 1.0 mips without problems, A/D sampling
at 200K samples per second 12 bits, lookup tables etc blah blah,
well within the capabilities of existing EFI micros, any suggesting
that 4000x times computing power is required is therefore Piffle
with a capital 'P',
