[Diy_efi] wiring harness question

Planning on installing EFI on my Olds, got a quick question, just wanted to
make sure.
I was offered a complete 85 camaro (MAF) harness & computer for very cheap,
but i wanted to go with speed density. I can't seem to find a cheap complete
SD system, only ECMs w/ the harness cut.
Will the 730 plug into the other harness, or with minimal hacking and
splicing? Am I right when I assume that the harnesses are almost the same
between a 730 and whatever they used in '85, except for the extra MAF stuff?
Just trying to Keep it Simple...
