[Diy_efi] Crank sensor for knock detection?

Sorry for the super late response here. This was concerning late model
Dodge spark knock, and the resulting dealer reflash to repair. The actual
cause for the knock was found to be a leak in the intake manifold belly pan
gasket. Many Ram owners have replaced the gasket (your dealer has a "kit"
with bolts and all) and the knock goes away, as well as possibly
unnoticeable mileage and oil losses.

Believe it or not, the dealers at first were rerouting plug wires as an
attempt, but then the PCM flash came along after enough complaints. These
obviously were just cover-ups. I know a few owners who had this flash done
to a $350 (at the time) performance PCM, talk about a power loss!
