<html><div style='background-color:'><DIV>I have a 1981 GMC on which I installed a 1988 5.7 engine fuel injection engine. However the stupid mechanic used a 1228062 ecm on the car. It works but it is not the right one. it should be 1227747.</DIV>
<DIV>&nbsp;</DIV>
<DIV>So &nbsp;I took out the 1228062 ecm from my car and I am replacing it with the right ecm which is 1227747. The car would go on and then back off, the RPM fluctuates betwen 300 and 1000 untill the engines stalls. I guess that the connectors to the ecm has to be rewired.</DIV>
<DIV>&nbsp;</DIV>
<DIV>Does anybody have any idea if this is true and how to do it ?</DIV></div><br clear=all><hr>Add photos to your messages with <a href="http://g.msn.com/8HMBENCA/2749??PS=">MSN 8. </a> Get 2 months FREE*. </html>
