I was trying to stimulate thought about what "best"
meant.  Best emissions?  Best fuel economy?  Best
power, best drivability?  Best repair record?  Lowest
cost?  Many factors to consider...  I'd argue that GDI
offers improvements in emissions, and less so in fuel
economy, and nowhere else, as things now stand.
