Clayton:
The '94 K1500 has a 23 pin jack under the dash that acts as an interface =
between the ECM/PCM (manual/auto trans) and the instrument panel, VSS =
buffer module and VSS, fuel injector power, and the ALDL connector.
Pin-h(red) connects the ignition switch directly to the injectors. The =
ECM/PCM also connects directly to the injectors with the enable ckts; =
Pin-J(pink/blk) connects the ignition sw. direct to the ECM/PCM for 12v =
(start/run). Note that the injector and VSS ckts are buried in the main =
harness from the engine to the "ECM/PCM"; the do not go to a fire-wall =
jack.
Other ckts interfaced through this jack include tachometer(pin-A), =
system ground(pin-B), upshift indicator(pin-D), ALDL ckts pins-E,F,&B, =
service engine light(pin-G), VSS buffer ckts (pins-L,M,&N).
I didn't indicate the associated ECM/PCM pin #'s because the differ =
between a manual tran application(ECM) and autotrans app(PCM).
When doing an engine trans plant, such as you are doing, or like I just =
did--shoe-horned a '94 5.7L TBI from a K1500 into an '88 Jeep Cherokee, =
I feel you'll save yourself tons of aggravation and hours of research if =
you'll just buy the appropriate factory manual. I have GM's #NATP-9442: =
Drivability, Emissions, and Electrical Diagnosis Manual. It hourly =
discusses both the ECM and PCM applications and differences in great =
detail. Plus includes all electrical diagrams and pin-outs.
Another source for ECM/PCM wiring diagram that I found fairly accurate =
is Mitchell wiring diagrams for domestic light trucks and vans; I found =
this in the reference section of my local library.

Hope this helps
Roger
