I can't remember where it is, but there is a byte to set in the chip for=20
Engineering mode" which disables the checksum check.=0D

Hi,=0D
 =0D
I just wondered if checksums can be eliminated. I know there is a reason=0D
to use them, but when experimenting with chips, it would be nice to=0D
eliminate the checksum code with nops...=0D
your thoughts?=0D
and, how can one figure where to find the input data? like RPM sensing,=0D
MAF sensing, and so on. realtime logging would be just great for this=0D
and make it easy, but on older systems I doubt there is a way to do, or?=0D
Via OBD (I or II, I don't care, I just mean the OBD way :)=0D
