[Diy_efi] Plumbing - EFI conversion

Not to let the VW surge tank topic die... but I've been out to the 'yard a
couple times trying to get my hands on one for experimental purposes, and I
can't find one of these little jewels.  Where on the car are they mounted?
I assumed back close to the tank, but I can't follow the lines to find the
thing.  Hints?
