Robert,
I don't have the answers you seek on the BMW ECU, but I'd be interested =
in your web site. I have a 1998 528i and need to get smarter on it. =
Most of the time I mess with Mustangs but since buying this "winter car" =
I haven't had a lot of luck finding good aftermarket support.
Thanks,
Dan

Hello to all. I run a BMW enthusiast website. Since I am in the =
technical profession (web app / server software developer) I have been =
elected to see if there are any of you guys out there that are doing ECU =
mods for the old school E30 BMWs.... 84-91 E30s m20b25 and m20b27 =
motors. I believe these are all Motronic (Bosch) units. We are looking =
at doing some performance upgrades as well as some custom stuff for the =
"E" to "I" swaps that the guys on my board do regularly.
I would like to get into learning about how to get into developing my =
own mods, but I know I have a ton of reading to do. Until then we are =
looking to see if anyone has any binaries for us to burn and test out or =
if anyone has the basic information about the tables in the Motronic =
chips. I have a burner available to me so you could send me the binary, =
or you can send me a chip....=20
Looking forward to getting/offering information with this group. I am =
very excited to get started.
Thanks,
Rob.
