OK.  You won't regret buying the service manual, but another option is =
the TPI/TBI swapping book from http://www.jagsthatrun.com  They show TBI =
and TPI harnesses, before and after stripping out the wires for the =
dash, wipers, tach, etc.  The simplest shows only 3 connections after =
all of the relays and other connectors are attached to their appropriate =
places:  TCC, fuel pump, and fused power.  Doesn't get much simpler than =
that.

	stand alone is the term used for a harness like a painless harness that =
only runs the engine and/or transmission. I am looking for info on =
converting a factory gm wiring harness into a stand alone=20
