replace the petrol injectors with lpg injectors. mod your fuel rail so gas can
be feed from both sides of the rail. lpg regulation is done at the converter
and is rising rate for the turbo install. the rail pressure is only around
15psi (vapour) os the normal efi o-rings are ok to use. the only draw back of
such a low rail pressure is that i can only run low boost.
i am in the middle of a rebuild right now of the engine, 9.5:1 running 6 - 9
psi. it was around 9:1 when a knock developed ......crappy pistons cracked
above the top rings on 3 pots. oh well it was a 2nd hand engine that had
100000km on it and wasnt boost happy......is now!!!
Im running a delco 082 with a custom memcal based on a VR V6 manual. the map
sensor is a 2bar so the maps look a little odd but all works very well.
im not sure on the cost of the gear now .....i have had it for a while but took
my sweet time to use it. Bill Campbell is the guys name who is the brains
behind it all....drop him a email or give him a call, details are on his page,
let him know that i passed the info onto you and hopefuly he will clue you up
some more
