The secret of an Aereodyne turbo is that it has sealed bearing
lubrication like a supercharger. My friend has had one on his
miata for 8 years now, they are good @ low boost, but @ higher
boost tend to implode because of thermal issues from lack
of cooling. There is some maintence required, oil change every
15k miles, the oil is $40 a pint or so... <BR>Because the
lubrication is sealed they can be mounted at any angle, this is
a popular turbo for snowmobilers who mount the turbo perpendicular to
the ground. Aerodyne is gone, but the technology and
dies were sold to another person who has since started
reproducing them (mostly for snowmobiles).JEFF
