I should have said that I do have a heated (3-wire, not 4) O2. I was =
just
theorizing that it might nonetheless work better with very hot exhaust =
as as
opposed to relatively cool exhaust at idle. I've ordered a Zeitronix =
ZT-2
and I'm going to try the simulated narrowband output while monitoring =
the
wideband. As I understand it, the unit has very precise temperature
control.
=20
The other possibility is slight exhaust leak that shows up worse at =
idle. I
really checked everything over though, and can't find any leaks.
Incidentally, a neat way to search for leaks is to attach a shop vac to =
the
tailpipe and listen for hissing and/or spray soapy water on suspect =
areas.
I found a leak that way, though it was downstream from the O2. Fixing =
it
made no difference.

Mike:
Most of the griping I hear about Accel injectors is that they randomly =
stop
working, or leak fuel into the intake. I can't remember any specifics, =
but
searching a bit in the TPI and DIY-PROM sections at thirdgen.org will
probably get you a few good complaints.
=20
The enable settings for BLM learn at idle are different from non-idle =
learn
so it may just not be updating. If you reset the BLMs then you'll know =
it's
updating when it changes from 128 (you'll have to pull the ECM fuse or
disconnect the battery to clear the BLM info.) I'd try that before I =
spent
more time troubleshooting.

Charles:
I would STRONGLY recommend going to a heated O2 in your case. Headers
(especially longtubes) move the O2 farther from the exhaust port which =
makes
it much more susceptible to cooling down at idle. I'd be willing to bet
this is what's causing your idle BLM creep.
