i dont think there is much left to say.

i doubt very much any manifacturer with at least 5% of brains left would market a car that would blow the engine due to a ego sensor failure. expecially in the US marker where we all know the liability problems and the attitude of courts to award ludicrous amounts of money for damage.  even walls know that o2 sensors are delicate and can be killed by just one tankful of the wrong fuel.

but apart that, has anyone ever seen an engine damaged by a missing or failed o2 sensor? i havent.
