Adam,  I wonder if they would send you a set for evaluation purposes and you
could agree to send them back with your analysis after the testing was
completed or send them a cheque to pay for them if they worked out great.
Just tell them that you represent a significant number of interested parties
and explain that you have proper test facilities for the unbiased
experiment.
