Fw: Fw: [Diy_efi] The Hunt effect

Hi Don.
I think it's worth a try. Mind you, if your engines stock at 8.4 to 1, 93
RON may be high enough. I was comparing 91 to 95 RON, (which has a price
difference of 7 cents/lit) on a 8.5 to 1 comp ratio. The apparent reduction
in temp may come into play.

If you have improved the C/R, it's definitely worth a try. I mentioned
Vortex as having a cleaning agent in it. BP also has a similar additive.
Shell probably has too.
I used to use a product called Fuel Doctor. It seemed to work. Don't need to
mix it now.

I can go 8000K between oil changes. The oil is still "brown" At 5000K it's
still golden, so I am reluctant to toss it out. (Motor's done 310,000 Km.)
To me that indicates it's a clean burning fuel, and that must help economy.
The exhaust is always clean also.

Geoff
