[Diy_efi] changeover

Just changed my 83 camaro with crossfire injection over to a carb.  what a nightmare the CFI set up is.......  Anyone have any advice asto what you can and cant pull off the car.  What does the computer controll?  I was told that the only thing it controlled was the emmissions??   Or is it linked to something that im going to need like the fuel pump or the trannie??....  Any and all comments will be most appreciated.
