Tah, The pump assembly is pretty much a bolt in assembly in the front of
the block, not easily removed ie Crank Pulley, Timing gear, belt etc etc
I only adjusted the oil relief spring length with some washers to get more
pressure - but f... it I forgot I sed compressed air to purge the galleries,
I must have purged the oil around the gears <doh>
So cant easily add vaseline - annoyed that service manual doesnt say anything,
darn it - could have saved a heap of time. So looking at where to poke a
rubber hose to back feed the oil pump with oil and some pressure...
Pizza was good, get back to it when my stomach has subsided, geesh
I feel like a python with delusions of 10" tentacles instead of fingers to
get to all the bits ;)
