[Diy_efi] gm vortec efi

i was wondering if anyone has messed with the plastic intake port efi from
c1999 gm vortec engines.  i have a sbc with vortec heads and realized that i
have the intake, harness, and ecm from a 99 delivery box van.  do you
suppose that would be worth replacing the holley 750/performer rpm setup ive
got?  efi is what i want, but i was told by someone i dont necessarily trust
that these plastic intakes arent worth much.  what do you guys think?
