His is a 1987 quattro.  I really don't know much about their engine 
management, way he was talking the injection is mechanical and then spark is 
controlled in the ecu.  He's been looking into using a megasquirt on it. 
Said he priced out most of the parts and it came to around $450.  Hasn't 
gone through the conversion yet since the stock stuff is still working.  He 
did change the timing so he could run a little more boost though.
