yes, same thing here -- subaru guys with manual transmissions were known to
do the opposite, always keep the throttle at 1% so that the fuel cut
mechanism didn't come in when you let off the throttle, made the car coast
nicer as it appears the subaru guys hadn't found a 'nice' way to turn the
fuel back on without violent AWD power 'slams'.
