Well, this one's a dead end, but was worth a shot. The no longer will entertain any kind of custom?? work, even to adapt to their cables, per their tech support staff. Bummer, as one of these vehicles is a Painless wired Jag refitted w/ a Camaro Z/28 TPI, and it's a tire burner!
Oh, well, thanks Clari for the idea, all help appreciated.

Check with (as in, give a call to) Painless Performance
http://www.painlessperformance.com/ and ask if they've got something like
that sitting around. When I needed to adapt a 2x2 Weatherpak to a 1x4
Metripack connector for my AIS swap, they had just that on the shelf. IIRC,
it was about $20 shipped, but I didn't have to lift a finger to get it.

somewhat larger pin size. This is a very similar to the weatherpack, but
smaller or higher density.

connector that would mimic the MAF end, only the female end that is actually
on the cable. The female end is not the challenge, as I've got a salvaged
harness that I could butcher one off of, but I'm looking to keep in intact
unless necessary to butcher it.

diag cable that I can insert inline to a MAF to monitor the signals to
diagnose either bad MAF's or the control circuits such as the burn-off power
and airflow signals.
