Hello Bruce! :-)
Correct me if I'm wrong, but is this the first response (in 3 years) from
you, to me, on this subject? If so, it's about bloody time, really, don't
you think? :-)

Good to hear!

Anything? Many years? Only 3, Bruce. 1.5 years ago I drove Jerry
(DIYAutoTune) under FreeEMS power, then I took a long holiday in my
beautiful country (and yours) after spending too much time in wretched
mother England. That was pretty cool. I should publish the story at some
stage, coding at the top of the Empire State Building, etc etc :-) Here is
an old video while in Florida cutting between traffic on the "freeway":

But for now, this for sale thread for my now un-needed MS2 box should be
enough ;-)

Hmm, I'm not so sure about that. Besides, who is to say which people MS has
or doesn't have? Not you, I can tell you that right now.

Next time, Bruce, before misquoting me, please, learn to read. What I said,
was, that *talent* was sponged for the purposes of profit, not that profit
was sponged. There is a distinct difference between these two sentence
constructions... For the record, Phil Tobin is very guilty of this too, I
won't run his software on my machines, I don't trust it. Speaking of which,
some readers may enjoy playing around with the Free and Open Source
OpenLogViewer (OLV for short) which is progressing rapidly and very usable
already - I used it to bring my CAS decoder up to scratch over the last few
days. Because it's GPL I was able to just make changes to suit myself and
freely distribute them to whoever I wanted for any purpose, nice that, isn't
it? :-)

That's great to hear, Bruce! Probably about time you put something back into
the community that MegaSquirt tore apart... Full credit there.
I'll start a new email thread when there is more to talk about, it's about
time. I didn't make any noise on here before because there wasn't much
generally usable to talk about, and also because it has a "hack OEM stuff"
feel to it, most of the time, anyway.
Thanks for finally engaging me, Bruce, it's been a pleasure.
Regards,
Fred.
