I've always just crimped twice.
Once on the terminal, once on the insulation.

I am looking for a low cost crimp tool for prototyping for the AMP
3-1447221-3 Superseal crimp connector attached.

The superseal connector is commonly used on the likes of Motec ECU
connectors.

Ideally the crimp tool would crimp the wire and the sheath in one action.
