Was the M an updraft?
I've done all the SV's, The 152, 196, and the SD 220/241 and the BG 265.
Really any engine can be retrofitted. It's all in the manifold adapter and distr conversion to something useable.
Of course it should be 12v neg gnd!!
The nice thing with EFI is it doesn't care what angle it is mounted. Down draft, side or up draft. All the same.
;-)

I inject everything from IH- International Harvester, some AMC and some Studebaker. The forgotten ones! They need all the help they can get.I've done all of the IH with TBI and now moving on to MPFI on the 1/2 V8-4cyl. Then on to the old IH 6cyl with MPFI and turbo.I have an Innocenti (Italian Mini) 1275cc running a 7747 single TBI and DIS. Some day it may go MPFI also. Also playing with
the old caddy sequential for an IH 304 MPFI and possible turbo. Too many projects, not enough time. Bill

I'm working on a 1989 Jaguar XJ-S. Haven't decided if I'm going with
a stock LS1 or LT1 install with a customized EFI system. The
 tinkerer
in me wants to play, but the more practical side of me says to just
drop the LS1 in and be done with it!
