Ya'll have now made me curious... I can't find any web references to the TPI
cylinder head combustion chamber volumes (nor the casting number), and my
heads are at the machinist's place <G>. I have in front of me a GMPP
catalog, that lists the casting number for an iron head as 14011083, 64cc
chamber, 1.94"/1.50" valve sizes. *If my memory serves me correctly*, that's
the head that was on my 1989 TPI motor (out of a Camaro).

Reason I'm curious... At the last minute, instead of machining my stock
heads, I opted to purchase some low mileage World Products S/R Torquer
heads... And those have a 76cc volume. If indeed the iron heads have a 58cc
size (which I somehow doubt...), then my CR would be way too low... Looking
down the catalog here, I see that the Corvette Aluminum TPI head had a 58cc,
1.94/1.50, casting number 10088113...

The GMPP catalog lists the iron head application as a "350 284 HP service
head"... Which means it may or may not have been used on other cars. IIRC,
the iron head ran with a 9.3:1 CR...

Abbreviations-R-Us,

-Andrew (if you build it, it will run... <G>)
