Thanks for the help, GM doesn't put this kind of info
in their shop manuals anymore. (I wish they did!)

Yes, Ford did this on a bunch of trucks, low pressure in tank, some
kind of vapour separator (I think), then a high pressure in line
in the frame rail located below the drivers feet.
