Hello,

I've been following along for a few weeks now and skimmed through the archive
files.

I'm impressed by what the more advanced list members can do, but I'm a little
discouraged about getting started.

I haven't located a HOWTO for getting started and would like to volunteer for
the writing.  I'm currently employed as a technical writer--we can do this.

I would like to see a document (web page) that descibes some of the basic
hardware we need to get started.  For example, eprom burners.  I do not know
if people buy these or if they are home brew.  What works?  Which
designs/commerical burners don't work?

I'd like to follow through on a lot more, but first, I'd like to know if this
floats.

PS.  The obvious about this is that I have an inkling about what to do but
only enough knowledge to be dangerous.  This effort would require input from
the gurus.
