Tower hobbies catalog sells a conductor of ultra thin stranded 
(like spiderwebs) copper wire with insulation. the silicone around 
them protects from very high heat (normally internal resistance heat 
created, not from external in the RC cars app) really rubbery wires 
like spaghetti noodles, 12 guage.  RC cars pull 100+ amps DC thru 
these at up to 24V and prople push them further. twisted wire with 
solid wire properties I think is the tout. 

is that SOLID wire in the OEM looms commonly?? or just strands of 
stiff thick twisted?
