Knock retard on LS1

I realise this is a list dedicated to the 'ECU' and not repairing as such
but would anyone with previous LS1 experience (it's still brand new in Oz )
be willing to help with advice on knock retard / driveability problems with
this engine.
At work we have taken snapshots of the data and at the moment I am sending
these to Holden Technical Services for their  input.
I would appreciate any help (and so would our service manager)
